Following a personal tragedy in 2004 Gillian Killen found herself at a cross roads in her life. In order to try to come to terms with the tragedy she enrolled on a Life Coaching course in Dublin. After successful graduation Life Style Designers NI was founded.
Subsequently she trained as an NLP Practitioner with Paul McKenna Training in London, and more recently in USA with Richard Bandler as a Master NLP Practitioner and NLP Trainer. Based in Belfast Gillian is one of Northern Ireland's first NLP trainers. Focusing her skills on enriching the lives of others she has worked with many UK celebrities, sports men and women as well as Top 100 Companies. Many communities of high social need have also benefited from the Life Skills Programme offered by Life Style Designers.
In particular this course has helped to reduce the use of anti-depressants in these areas as well as impact on suicide reduction.
Gillian uses her Life & Business Coaching skills to help clients establish personal goals as well as encouraging individuals to find a suitable work life balance, something which employers are becoming more aware of; many of them now offer a coach as part of their remuneration package.
Demand is so high for these life and mind changing techniques that Gillian has founded the International Life Style Academy. The aim of the Academy is to provide an ECI accredited Life Coaching Diploma as well as NLP Practitioner and Master Practitioner accredited to the NLP Society. These programmes will be the stepping-stones to Fashion Coach, Weight Loss Coach and many more.
With over 20 years experience in sales, with the Thompson Newspaper Group and latterly with two of the worlds top 10 Pharma Companies; she has a wealth of knowledge in the sales and communications field.
This experience is reflected in the quality sales and communication training offered by Life Style Designers in the corporate environment.
Gillian is a part time lecturer in Life Coaching at NDAI, a regular contributor to Dare Magazine, Tiscali UK, The Newsletter as well as Downtown Radio and Radio Ulster.
